Overall US Advertising Expenditure has grown slowly over the past three years, from a total of $ 151 Bn in 2005 to $158.6 Bn in 2007. Over the same period, US Online Advertising has grown more rapidly from $12.5 Bn to $ 19.6 Bn. Online Advertising, including Text-based Search (which is not currently included in the IAB US statistics), now constitutes 12.3% of total Ad Spend in the US.
