ATT acquires WiFi provider WayPort for $275m

AT&T has acquired Wayport, which provides managed Wi-Fi services in the United States, for $275 million in cash. The deal will add Wayport's enterprise customer portfolio and expertise to AT&T's IP and 3G networks, consumer and business customers, to deliver enhanced broadband connectivity at home, in the office, and on the road.
