Brands are now important and valuable assets, but they face new challenges in dealing with highly-connected and fast-moving digital markets. Brands are more likely to be successful if they are relevant to the target audience and aligned with core values.

Yahoo's yodel granted sound trademark in India

Yahoo's trademark yodel is finally and officially its own in India. The Indian trademarks office has granted India's first 'sound mark' to Yahoo's three-note Yahoo yodel. This will prevent other companies or individuals in India using the yodel, which is essentially a long-drawn Yahoo. More »

Isobar buys Russian digital agency AdWatch

Isobar, the digital agency owned by Aegis, has acquired a Russian company as it continues to build its presence in emerging markets.
